If approved, the property owner at 122 6th Avenue North would be charged $6,553.20 to recover the city's cost of demolishing an unsafe building on the lot.
Property owner at 1821 Maple Avenue would be billed $12,661 to recover the city's cost for demolishing an unsafe building. If approved, the assessment becomes a lien against the property.
If approved, the property owner at 3501 Bessemer Avenue would be charged $10,981 to cover the city's cost of demolishing an unsafe structure on the site.
If approved, would provide emergency overnight shelter and transitional housing for young adults ages 19-29 living with HIV and individuals over 30 with HIV, through June 2027. Targets support for ages 19-24 specifically for transitional housing.
If approved, the city would provide up to $100,000 to Flourish Alabama for youth programs, education, technology, music, art, health awareness, and community gardens through mid-2027. These initiatives would support neighborhood environments and youth development across the city.
