An Ordinance “TO FURTHER AMEND THE GENERAL FUND BUDGET” by appropriating $3,000,000.00 to Non Departmental – Vision Scholarship Program from Fund Balance.
Would allocate opioid litigation settlement funds to the City Attorney's office for neighborhood revitalization programs. If approved, residents could see new community-focused initiatives funded through this recovery money.
Council would authorize spending $7,403 in General Fund dollars on office furniture for the Information Management Services Department, sourced through a competitive state master agreement.
If approved, the property owner at 122 6th Avenue North would be charged $6,553.20 to recover the city's cost of demolishing an unsafe building on the lot.
Property owner at 1821 Maple Avenue would be billed $12,661 to recover the city's cost for demolishing an unsafe building. If approved, the assessment becomes a lien against the property.
If approved, the property owner at 3501 Bessemer Avenue would be charged $10,981 to cover the city's cost of demolishing an unsafe structure on the site.
